Proofreading

Per the Chicago Manual of Style, proofreading is the very last glance-over before publication. Proofreaders look for grammatical errors (punctuation, syntax, typos etc.) but do not make any changes to the story. 

Copy Editing

Rate is determined per word; contact me for specific price estimates.

Copy editing is a more in-depth edit, where I will look at sentence structure, clarity of voice, and consistency throughout the story. In addition, I will look for any and all grammatical errors or typos.
